Communication is Key
We use different steps and tools to train each dog individually. That's right, throw out the timeline because they each learn at their own pace! We analyze each pup and build a training plan that is specifically designed for them. Understanding what properly motivates them to learn is critical. We use this knowledge to communicate and teach them the commands that you will be using in their every day life.
Socialization is a Must
We never quite know where life will take us, but most of us want to share it with our companions. We monitor each dog's behavior during our every day sessions. An anxious dog is an unhappy dog. We gently introduce our dogs to activities like social play, vehicle safety (including trucks, boats, ATVs, lawn mowers, etc...), loud noises, excited children, machinery, etc... We want to be sure that when you take your dog home, they are able to handle any new scenario/encounter politely and with confidence.
Education and Transfer of Learning
Before each of our dogs graduate their programs, we must make sure that you are comfortable with taking the leash! We provide counseling and an educational session before graduation. Here is where we teach you all the commands that are used, what motivates your dog and give you the confidence you need to play a supportive role as their owner. That's right, we cannot train our dogs without also training their owners and providing continued support once the dog goes home!
